Ways to Donate

          There are multiple ways for you to help support the Sydenham Conservation Foundation (SCF) and the goals we strive for. Some of these options are:

1. Money Through an Online Service:

   a. Through PayPal Giving Fund - a tax receipt is issued immediately to the email linked to your PayPal account.

   b. Through CanadaHelps - similar to the above, a tax receipt is sent directly to you after your donation is

       submitted to the email on your account.

2. Cheque Through the Mail:

Mail cheques or money order made to the address below, where once processed, we will send you a physical or digital tax receipt. For a digital receipt, an email will need to be legibly written with the donation, however you should also include your address as a safe backup! Tax receipts will be issued with a donation of $25 or more if donated with this method.

3. Bequeath Land or Property:

In the unfortunate event of one's passing, they may opt to add the Sydenham Conservation Foundation as a beneficiary in their will by bequeathing land/property to us. With the land/property donation, a tax receipt is issued to the estate immediately upon notification to allow the family of the deceased to send in the final income tax. This would help reduce any tax obligation the estate may owe on behalf of the deceased and can be carried back to the previous year. The amount of the tax receipt will be depend on the fair market value of the land/property.

          Your generous donations support the Sydenham Conservation Foundation in numerous ways, including covering our operating expenses which includes our property taxes on the properties we own and insurance to protect the SCF. Your support ensures these precious ecosystems are protected for now and future generations to come!
